Bradley Kemp – Committee Chair/Seniors Captain
Our leader. Our Saviour. The Almighty Creator of the New North Somerset County.
Not just a god of the County Setup, but also a god of the baize. The double singles champ he plays with as much dedication as he leads. And he hath created our new world with the decrees of the Double Champ…
On the first day, he said I shall be the new chairman, let there be new light shed upon County. And there was a new Stack Team App upon which we would flourish.
On the second day, he said let there be the atmosphere. And there were new squad match friendlies upon which we shall all learn the righteousness of teamwork.
On the third day, he said let there be the means upon which we shall develop and flourish. And there was the Money League.
On the fourth day he said let there be the bright lights of the sun. And he decreed Nugg’s polished head be the leader of our A team.
On the fifth day he said let there be beasts and birds. And there was the new look Mens and Ladies teams.
On the sixth day he finished early because trades shall not worketh properly on the weekend. And he won a singles title.
On the seventh, he won another and became the double champion.
And we all celebrated. All basked in the glory of our great, beautiful leader. The Double Champ. The man who not only delivers you North Somerset County Pool but exceptional, discounted Bathroom and Kitchen Installations with the church of BK Installations. Amen to the champ. He leads us all… he is committed to bringing glory from the almighty to our hallowed lands… and is the only Seniors player with young enough eyes to see the scoresheet, so leads that too.

Lee Kerslake – Comms Manager
The wordsmith. The utterer of sarcastic drivel. When you have a face for radio you need to know your words… and so the role of comms manager was born.
Charged with taking the gospel of St. Kemp to the world… the evangelist, the preacher from whom you shall receive your monthly sermon.
Alongside Merran as one of the few left to have been there since the start… the first ever A team captain… the first to qualify for England trials in the first season of North Somerset County… the first to nearly get banned from Pontins Brean in the history of… Pontins Brean.
A man of firsts… now the first Comms Manager… ensuring now in old age and aching joints that he can live vicariously, like a proud slightly weird uncle, as he ensures the successes of others are pushed far and wide.

Mark Williams – A Team Captain
For a big job, you need a big character. A beacon of light… Combined with the heads of Matt, Dave and Joe that beacon shines through the A team.
A leader amongst men, shepherd in the ego rich fields of the A team. As if managing the Etonians of county pool was not enough, severe aging makes his current achievements in the game even more remarkable. Having led the local football world to success for seasons, his record of leadership in the pool world also shows numerous National Finals appearances over the last few years.
The Dorian Grey of the world pool scene, defying his years to not only command the A team ship, but be one of the team’s greatest assets. His dominance of the baize makes him one of the most respected names in the North Somerset County Pool world. His immense reputation fits unassumingly in his athletic, aging frame and unshakable Clooney like smile.
He is the face you look to when you think of success in leadership within our chosen field; he is our Alex Ferguson, Our Clive Woodward, Our Donald Trump. As the great Killers would say… he’s got gas in the tank, he’s got money in the bank, we’ve got news for you baby… you’re looking at the Man.

Lee Mulholland – B Team Captain
Guardiola, Mourinho, Klopp. When you think of leaders, you never think of the name Lee. That, now, will change. The name Lee Mulholland will echo the halls of the Railway… as people try to find him while he goes for another smoke when he’s supposed to be playing.
The B team is the golden goose, the lifeblood of the team feeding talent through the system. You need a man at the helm who can develop talent like Klopp, can implement tactics like Guardiola, and can moan about luck like Mourinho. You need someone who reflects the talents of the famous sporting icons we have seen through the years… so we found someone who can drink like Alex Higgins.
It’s his first season at the helm, with a fantastic squad at his disposal, North Somerset’s own ‘Hurricane’ will be seeking to emulate the achievements of his favourite footballing icons and, with the enthusiasm he shows throughout, we are confident he will do just that

Merran Lawrence – Ladies Captain
If there’s any job harder than managing the huge characters of the A team, it’s managing Ladies. It’s so hard, we have the landlady do it.
She not only leads the Ladies’ team at game time but also how long we can drink for after. The most powerful person in all of North Somerset County Pool… she is in charge of the alcohol. The architect of North Somerset County Pool. One of only a few left from the very first games played in the very first season of North Somerset County Pool.
She was the first mother of North Somerset County. If Brad is the God of North Somerset County, that would make Merran the goddess.
Her no-nonsense approach to the myriad of nonsense she encounters makes her an invaluable leader in our world. She is our first creator. She is our host. She is, like most of us now, old.
She is our Ladies’ captain.
